Sponsor a Teen's Second Chance
You can help give a second chance to a young person whose life has been derailed. They come to the Dream Center's Teen home when abuse, poverty, drugs, gangs, or other life-destroying cycles have them headed in the wrong direction. We give these teenagers a safe, loving atmosphere where they can find a second chance at life.
What your help will do:
Provide a safe home and change lives
Not only do we help them get clean from drugs and alcohol, but we also help each young person that lives with us to work through the issues that contributed to their desstructive lifestyle. Besides those struggling with drugs and anger, we also take in teens to help families that are facing the uncertainties of homelessness by taking their teenager and providing a safe place to live, to get educated and to dream again. These teens and families need your help to provide these life-changing services.Provide counseling and mentoring
Our homes are supervised 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Services include room and board, plus a full time school, pastoral counseling, activities and Christian mentoring. Some families are able to support us financial to help cover a fraction of the cost of caring for their children, but many families simply cannot afford to sacrifice any more. We simply can't turn away a family because of financial difficulties, and although we keep our overhead cost low, we still have bills to pay.Giving troubled teens a future
Without your help, many teens will not be able to enter our teen program, and the gangs, drugs, illicit sexual activity and poverty will continue to hold them hostage in increasingly destructive lifestyles.
